REQUIREMENTS WITHIN CANADA TO APPLY FOR PROVISIONAL RESIDENCY IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
  1. Apply for a Tourist Visa to enter the country (if applicable).
  2. Birth Certificate (if Canadian) must be legalized by a Dominican Republic Embassy or Consulate; fee of USD 100.00.
  3. Marriage Certificate (if Canadian) must be legalized by a Dominican Republic Embassy or Consulate; fee of USD 100.00.  
Method of payment:

Money order, bank draft, certified check or cash if in person payable to Consulate General of the Dominican Republic.

When mailing your documents please include a prepaid courier envelope with your mailing address and phone number.
